Pro Music Mission - Free Music Production Project for 16 – 25 year olds. No experience required.
Starting 27th September - 15th December

Learn what it takes to work in a professional music studio.
Over 12 weeks, training will be delivered in music technology leading to real experience in a community enterprise music business.
You will be involved in all aspects of production from creating live beats to lyrics, then recording and editing to professional standards. The studio uses Logic and Reason recording programs.
This is a one off fantastic experience for young people and will benefit other community organisations with the production of their audio marketing.

This project requires a commitment of 30 hours a week, to be worked between the studio and off site work.

Herald the DJ Presents: Jingles & Genres - Free Music Project for 16 - 25 year olds. No experience required.
Starting 8th September for 6 weeks every Wed 1pm – 4pm.

Introducing ways to create jingles and podcasts, for broadcasting online and radio.
In our professional recording studio using Logic on a Mac G5, you will learn how to plan, produce and record short music jingles for local independent radio, using your own music or voice, or sound samples from CD’s. Excellent experience making music in small groups and sharing ideas.

If you are interested in music or want to learn about using your voice in new ways this is a must do workshop.

DJ Alikat presents: ‘Talking Decks ’ - DJ for 16 - 25 year old beginners.
Starting 9th September for 6 weeks every Thurs 1pm – 4pm.

Learn how to mix records, get a better understanding of technical knowledge using sound manipulation and musical skills. Learn about audio and basic recording in a relaxed environment.
Improve your motor skills, eye – hand co ordination and listening ability. Develop and increase your knowledge of sound and recording.
All you need is a genuine interest in music, patience and good listening skills. Learn to mix Dubstep, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass records and create your own unique DJ selection, using vinyl, Technics 1210’s, record your own mix.
